kitchen build – part 1
Mid December and in mid manic festive preparation time, we clear the ‘kitchen’ area to make way for carpenter Paul and Karl to commence the kitchen build. During recent weeks the ceiling has been painted and the walls lime washed; the antique Holophane lights hung and the air extraction ducting installed. The Christmas tree was a little in the way,…

It’s beginning to look a lot like… Clearing the House and creating our temporary Christmas living room begins. Easier said than done when work on the kitchen also begins – the surrounding chaos has been cropped out of this shot! Image of the Week #116

Karl has been plaster boarding the bathroom walls,…

It featured two full length shots looking over the pews with all our possessions stacked in a seemingly chaotic jumble. I wanted to record this as a way…

It’s that time of year again!
The tree is up! Our little extravagance is to get a big tree. With these high ceilings, anything smaller than 10ft looks tiny. Its is quite an undertaking to clear a space for it and getting it up, let alone decorating it. Image of the Week #65
