Christmas cards
We have expanded our greetings card range to include more photographs of Christ Church. These would make lovely Christmas cards. They are priced at £2.50 each (£2 for the smaller snowy Christ Church). We are open every Thursday and Friday 12 – 3pm up until December 19th.

Christ Church – 170 years!
Today marks the 170th anniversary of Christ Church as a consecrated church. This morning the sun was streaming through the three stained glass windows in the Apse and as these are a visual reference to the dedication of the church as Christ Church, it seems fitting to feature them today. They depict the Transfiguration, the Resurrection and the Ascension…

We’ve been standing near this window all day today welcoming visitors to the church for our open day. It’s been wonderful seeing familiar faces who continue to support us to see how we’re getting on, and welcoming new visitors who become enchanted by this beautiful building! Thank you all for your support today!

A section of a stained glass window in the north west corner of the church, with a suitable Easter theme. We hope that you all had a lovely Easter. Low sunlight
One of my favourite things is the coloured reflections of the stained glass windows on the walls here. The low sun at this time of year is particularly good for them! A little late this week, but Image of the Week #62
