Open Day
Christ Church will be open Sunday 6th July 10am – 5pm To view the interior, learn some of its history and see how the restoration work is progressing. And come and sample some of our homemade elderflower cordial!

History Fair
We will be at Welshpool’s History Fair, this Saturday 28th June, in the Corn Exchange from 10am. There will be lots of stands representing local history groups and organisations. We hope to see you there!

This week we have been putting together a leaflet for the ‘Discovering Gravestones Trail’, which we are launching next Sunday 8th June at our Open Day (10am – 5pm). Welshpool Rotary Club have published a booklet ‘Welshpool Personalities – Issue 10’ which features an article on ‘Why did Christ Church close’, written by Roger L. Brown. We were invited to write and appendix on how we see the future of Christ Church. It is available from Welshpool Tourist Information Centre, priced £1, with all profits going to Water Aid.
