It was a pleasure to welcome Llandrinio Mothers Union to the church today. They loved the building and our work, as can be seen by the lovely comments they left in the visitors book.

Online card shop
We now have a ‘shop’ page where you can purchase greetings cards and packs of postcards online. They feature a variety of images of Christ Church and flowers from our ‘Secret Garden’ photographed by Natalie. Payment is processed securely through PayPal. Proceeds from the sale of these cards will go towards opening Christ Church to the public. Please see the…

Yesterday we were invited to give a talk to Welshpool WI about our Christ Church restoration journey. It was wonderful to talk about the building to such a delightful audience and they particuarly seemed to enjoy seeing the photographs of the boys hard at work here and appreciating that it truely is a family driven project here.

Christmas cards
We have expanded our greetings card range to include more photographs of Christ Church. These would make lovely Christmas cards. They are priced at £2.50 each (£2 for the smaller snowy Christ Church). We are open every Thursday and Friday 12 – 3pm up until December 19th.

CHURCHYARD ACCESS ALERT
There will be no access to the churchyard on WEDNESDAY 15th OCTOBER due to safety concerns as there are some high-level maintenance works being undertaken on the building. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and your patience is appreciated.

We’ve been standing near this window all day today welcoming visitors to the church for our open day. It’s been wonderful seeing familiar faces who continue to support us to see how we’re getting on, and welcoming new visitors who become enchanted by this beautiful building! Thank you all for your support today!

We will be open this Sunday 7th September, 10am – 5pm. We are looking forward to welcoming you to view the interior of the nave and see how our restoration work is progressing. Also available is the ‘Discovering Gravestones Trail’ to learn more of the interesting gravestones in the churchyard.

Llwydiarth and Trefnany WI’s were really interested in seeing inside the church, learning about it’s history and hearing about the domestic side of Christ Church Living!
