An area on our doorstep which, ashamedly, we have hardly explored is Long Mountain and the parish of Trelystan. Needing to stretch our legs and our eyes, we set about putting this right. Exploring the churchyard of St. Michaels, Trefeglwys.
We had a family day out walking in the hills of Trefeglwys, which is Karl’s childhood stomping ground and we couldn’t resist exploring the churchyard. The slate headstones were beautiful. I could have spent hours photographing each individual one! The weathered colours, the Victorian designs and the lettering were fascinating and inspiring… I shall let the photographs speak…

Fred had a special presentation from Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust to show their appreciation for completing his 2 Peak Challenge and raising a massive £278 for their ’30 days to save Dolforwyn’ appeal. They have a nice write up about it here. It has all been such a fantastic experience for him!
