Booklet featuring Christ Church
Welshpool Rotary Club have published a booklet ‘Welshpool Personalities – Issue 10’ which features an article on ‘Why did Christ Church close’, written by Roger L. Brown. We were invited to write and appendix on how we see the future of Christ Church. It is available from Welshpool Tourist Information Centre, priced £1, with all profits going to Water Aid.

It’s been a quiet few months here at Christ Church. Karl has been working on the roof of the boys bedrooms, insulating and putting down boards. The Future of Christ Church
When the house is completed at the back of the church, we will take down ‘The Hut’. We will then work on restoring all the interior walls by striping off all inappropriate modern materials and replacing them with lime products. Any damage incurred by years of water ingress will be repaired. We will install under floor heating to the Nave…
