    The oak tree in June

          Leaves vivid green against the blue sky, fluttering in the breeze. The elder at the base of the oak tree is in flower (signaling the start of elderflower cordial making time!). Joining in with Loose and Leafy’s ‘Tree Following’ project. Previous Tree Following posts here

    The Window View in May

      The evening light on the copper beech and the oak tree enhance May’s Window View. The ash tree has flowered and is now in full leaf, therefore blocking out a lot of sky. January, February, March and April’s ‘Window View’ here

    The Window View in March

    Colour is beginning to creep into the Window View with the fresher greens of growing grass and touches of yellow from the daffodils, primroses and celandines. Even though it is cloudy today, the light seems stronger than last month, picking out the greens of the ivy and moss on the ash tree. The Window View has been further enhanced by…
