Some changes…
In a week that has seen huge change just about everywhere, we have needed to make some changes to our public access due to the coronavirus outbreak; whilst still providing a friendly smile! We will be maintaining our usual opening hours, Fridays 12-3 pm and the first Sunday of the month 1-4 pm for as long as it is possible.
With social distancing in mind we are limiting access to just the entrance porch where you can still view the interior of the nave. We will be on hand, at a safe distance, to chat and explain the project . It would be appreciated if only 2 people entered the building at a time.
Displays that require handling, such as the Remembering the Fallen of the Great War at Christ Church, will not be available to view to minimise the spread of the virus.
Greetings cards and postcards are still available to buy either in person or online in our Shop.
The Poppy Trail leaflets are available on the door if you are passing and would like to explore the WW1 history of the churchyard a little more in your own time.
Meanwhile the churchyard is full of the promise of Spring if you need to escape it all!
With very best wishes,
Natalie & Karl
