Roses

Along side the south aisle of the church runs a flower bed, planted up I believe, by the Head Gardener of Powis Castle many years ago. Next to this flower bed lies the Herbert family tombs, including three of the Earls.
At this time of year it looks beautiful, full of pinks and whites. The roses always stand out and look lovely against the wall of the church.
Let’s hope they stay looking good for next Saturday’s Open Day!
