Powis Castle garden party

We were given the opportunity to have a stand at Powis Castle garden party to celebrate the Royal Wedding. It was a lovely day organised by The National Trust and Welshpool Town Council. We displayed information and photos on the historic connection between Powis Castle and Christ Church, as well as the explaining all the work we’ve done here. We met lots of people and had a great day.

It was a busy weekend as this was followed by the first of our Open Days on Sunday. We cleared the ‘Powis corner’ of our boxes of stuff stored on the pews. Great to have a bit more clear and to have the ability to get close to some of the stained glass windows. We were delighted to welcome all who attended and everyone’s support is very appreciated, thank you!
