Moth hunting

Inspired by a recent Moth and Bat evening we attended recently, organised by Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust, we have been doing our very own moth hunting this week. We set up a makeshift ‘trap’ with a lamp and a white sheet, outside the back door of the church, and waited to see what would appear. It was completely fascinating, and when I’ve finally identified them all, I’ll share what we saw. Fred absolutely love it and it was a wonderful way to spend a summer’s evening. Image of the Week #47
