Remembrance Sunday
In honour of Remembrance Sunday, I photographed this gravestone which is adjacent to the south side of the church, along side the path. It is part of the Morris family tomb and this was the inscription which caught my eye… ‘In memory of Lieut Charles Herbert Morris, 13th RWF attached to 59th RAF. Born Feb 4th 1892. Missing in France…

Churchyard wall
The boys love to sit on the churchyard wall and feed the horses in the field. The grass has just been cut, so there are arm fulls of ready cut grass to be thrown down to the waiting horses… with a fabulous view over Welshpool to boot! Image of the Week #55

Landing lights
A house update is long overdue, so I thought I’d show you how the landing has progressed. Over the summer the ceiling and walls have been painted, along with the railing along the edge of the landing (and boy did that take a long time!). The walls are painted in Farrow and Ball’s ‘Pointing’ and the railing in ‘Borrowed Light’.…
