February in the Churchyard

There have been some early signs of spring with celandines appearing in sheltered spots in the churchyard. The snowdrops are still going strong, with past lovingly planted clumps appearing on unmarked graves. The days are getting longer with sunlight bathing the churchyard through the bare trees. A perishingly cold end to the month as winter regains its hold.
