Christ Church – 170 years!
Today marks the 170th anniversary of Christ Church as a consecrated church. This morning the sun was streaming through the three stained glass windows in the Apse and as these are a visual reference to the dedication of the church as Christ Church, it seems fitting to feature them today. They depict the Transfiguration, the Resurrection and the Ascension of Christ and were made by David Evans who was a local man and renowned stained glass artist working in Shrewsbury.
