A break away… Dolgellau

Earlier this week we had a few days away in our beloved caravan to Dolgellau. It’s only an hour up the road, but the dramatic landscape makes it feel a world away.
The mountains, the woods, the farmland with its dry stone walls, the cuckoos… all make it a wonderful place to explore.
The weather was mixed, but we had a perfect day for hiking up Cadair Idris, and another cycling through Coed y Brenin forest along a roman road.
It was a very much needed break for all of us and now we’re a little more refreshed to push on with our work here, and finishing off exams at school for son #1.
