Sweeping and weeding…

We are having a very busy week, preparing for Saturday’s Open Day. The church has been swept and tidied up, information panels updated and added too and all the displays set up. We were prompted to do this a little ahead of schedule, as we had a visit yesterday from Penybontfawr WI. As part of their summer trip, they came here for a talk and a tour of the church. They seemed to really enjoy it! I thoroughly enjoyed their company as they were lovely ladies.

Now that the church is ready for Saturday, our attention now turns to the ‘Secret Garden’ as that will be open too. It’s more like a ‘Secret Jungle’ at the moment so I’d better get cracking…
