They’re home!

For the past two and a half weeks, Karl and Owen have been on quite an adventure. They went to the Salt Flats in Utah, USA, where they took part in Bonneville Speed Week. For 18 months, Karl and two friends from work, have been working towards this, by building and modifying two vintage BSA Bantams to attempt to break a land speed record. Thankfully they were successful (with Owen as Crew Chief!). Their Facebook page is worth a look at if only to see what Fred’s stowaway lego figure, Thor, got up to in the US! Fred, Victor and I have had a nice break too, exploring the lovely local countryside of Montgomeryshire! A holiday at home.
We’re all keen now to crack on with the task at hand, as all this adventuring is not getting the house built!
